OMG - Sandra and I had the most incredible day at the Amgen Tour of California Stage 8 finale of the race.
HUGE thanks to Brian Garofalo, of Amgen, who arranged to meet us gave us VIP passes to the finish line event. Brian is such a down-to-earth thoughtful person, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with him and hearing some of the inside scoop of the race. I won't go into too much detail tonight as I am seriously wiped out. I didn't get my daily nap, and man, is it catching up with me. I just wanted to post a few pics, and will comment more tomorrow, when I'm a little more lucid.
